| I haven't had a chance to get over there yet, probably should this coming week. Two of them are good enough to use, two are definitely unacceptable. The one I'm running right now has about the same runout as a stock shaft and it doesn't seem to matter once it's spun up.
I'm using a Trex tail assembly, so there's no worries about that end, the mainshaft has been the problem. The combination of parts I'm using means I can only get 1 usable shaft out of a 200 mm rod, the remainder isn't long enough to make another for MiniRex. I figure I'll get another MicroHeli auto rotation maingear for the CP Pro and make the leftovers into mainshafts for it, shouldn't ever bend another one once I do that
Just went out and flew it again, flight characteristics are somewhere in between the CP Pro and the Trex 450 SE, I think it will be a fun little flier once I get it dialed in better and stop worrying if something's going to break.
I learned to fly on a Trex, I learned to crash on a Blade CP... |
