no video but the heli easily does rolls flips stationary flips and inverted hovering with the ejector rod mainshaft. i bent a stock mainshaft which stripped and 3 servos just doing a roll

i just bought a hdx300 from a member here .. i need the radio settings for it . i have a futaba 7chp .. i think i know everything but gyro settings .. when it lifts off it just spins around , no tail control . no mixs are on gyro set to GY = hh i know its in hh but its not working right ...but i would still like to know all the settings to make sure i have it right .... any help would be great

Sounds like the gyro is working backwards. Depending on your actual gyro, you can either reverse it or turn it over. Mine did the same thing... Also, make sure your rudder control is not backwards.

ok heres my issues ..the settings i have the swash is way low , then in a hover i get wobble or vibrations .. i see that the tracking is off 1/4 inch or so .. i tryed to raise the swash with sub trim but it wont lift off (blade flutter) i guess i need to completely reset this thing up , if i go idle up the swash would bottom out . all servos are not level should they be ? i can usually figure out these problems but this one has me stumped.

Set Up

Sounds like you should go over set-up

With your throttle sich at mid point, everything should be at 90 degrees, servo arms, mixer arms should be horizontal

Also, not sure which head you are running, but I think your swashplate should raise as you increase throttle/collective.

You may need to check your servo reversing

I found that when I had the pitch too high, and the headspeed too low, I would get the wobble you are describing

ok i have the servos level at mid stick and 0 pitch .. and a little over 10 at top stick . but heres the weird thing ..bottom stick gose way too far down ends up at - 10 deg pitch .. is there a way to stop the swash at -2 % ? throttle is 0- 10- 65 - 80- 90 pitch is 53- 74- 80- 89- 96

Tail

Tail is supposed to turn counter clockwise (if it is facing you)

Adjust first two pitch settings to a higher number to adjust your low range pitch

Looks like in your picture, you tail is actually spinning CLOCKWISE according to your picture, which is not correct

You do need to twist your belt the opposite way. Although I am running the plastic tail setup, what I woold do is just take apart the tail cases sections, and flip the tail gear over

Should solve your problem

yep the tail was spinnin backwards .. i had to replace the tail servo allso ,it was buzzing and about to fall apart. i put a hitec 56 on it.. fired it up and it seems to be soo much better allthough i now have a fast tail wag ... ill play with the gain and see if i can smooth this bird out. when you buy a used heli its NEVER rtf!( RTF) stands for ( ready to fix ) .. took a little work but i think this is gonna be a nice heli .......

Couple questions

I have mine almost together. I going to use a motor that came out of a shogun, and I got a plastic tail from Helidirect. Im also going to try using the whole plastic top end from the Blade cp.

Question... has anyone used the plastic Blade cp stock parts ?
Also has anyone done any 3d with this ? if so are there any videos on here.
The only time I saw one of these fly was on the Helidirect page and he just went putt putt putt around . Are there any 3d videos out there?

tail piro

ok the tail on this bird is drivin me nuts!! i put a new servo on the tail HS-65HB with eski gyro .. the tail belt was backwards i fixed it .. now the tail moves in the right direction the tr moves counter clockwize the belt is tight enough BUT on lift off now its spins super fast ! if i move the rudder stick left it spins left if i stop try to lift off and turn right it spins fast right ! its like the gyro isnt even there....

Gyro

Sounds like you need to reverse your gyro, there should be a reverse switch on it

First make sure the tail is moving the right way on the tx, stick to right moves tail pitch slider outward. If thats not correct, then reverse channel 4 on the tx

If thats correct, and you still get piro, then reverse the gyro. Typically, you can tell if the gyro reverse is correct by starting up the system, wait for gyro to activate, and then manually move the tail left or right. The gyro should couteract the movement by moving the slider the correct direction.

In other words, moving the tail left should cause the tail pitch slider to move inward, and vice versa

ok when i move the tail right no movemnt when i move the tail left it moves out a little then in so it seems to be working left but not right

im useing futaba 7chp on gyro i have it on 50 50 gy and inh the gain on the gyro is at 50 no switchs on this gyro but it all seems to be n the right direction
