e-Ikarus Piccolo-Eco 8/16 > Main Blade Grip Thrust Bearings upgrade for ECO 8/16

Need help to figure out how to upgrade main blade grip radial ball bearing to thrust bearing.

One thing I get confused is the size of the thrust bearing.
The radial BB on the main blade grip is Ikarus p/n 67569, the size is 4mm ID x11mm OD x4mm Depth, according to ModelFixings UK, the replacement thrust bearing size is 4 x 10 x4. It is about 1mm smaller than radial BB.

If it is not direct replacement of radial BB, the thrust bearing is added on top of radial BB, the spindle is not longer enough, do I need find a longer spindle to replace the stock short one? or I could use special screw to extend the spindle?

I worry about the radial BB is because ECO 16 blade is longer, obviously add more force on grip BB.

Where can I find these parts?

Thanks

Buy the thrust bearing kit,

It comes with special T-nuts that extend the length of the spindle shaft to accomidate the extra bearings.
Also, the kit has a set of recessed bearing spacers that are cupped to hold the 10mm thrust bearing. CMEHobbies is abou the only place left that I know of who carries these bearing kits. Hope that helps.
