Thunder Tiger Raptors 30-90 - Imperio > What Rotor Blades?

I'm thinking of upgrading my stock wooden Main Rotor Blades on my Rator 30 for some Glass fibre and,/or Carbon fibre ones and was wondering what brand, type, size is good to go for, they would be used for Hover, general ff and some aerobatics.

Thanks,
Hayden.

I personnally am sold on the SAB line of blades. You can get them at YNTdesigns.com (Sheldon), or at Cyberheli.com if you so desire. The blades are great quality, and pretty darn cheap if you ask me.

They are only 35 plus 15 shipping from cyberheli. You might pick up a free crashed set from fury flyer sometime.

I use a set of 550 Hurricanes and I love them.

Is any one using "NHP" blades on their Raptor 30? If so which model of their blades, as they seem to have several 550mm ones with 4mm holes?

Thanks, Hayden.

Yes, i use NHP 580's with NHP 72's on streached tail. my webra s35 (two small head shims) with weston genesis pipe and wildcat helimix 15%. This combination is smooth, stable and has a better rollrate than 550 V-blades! it also autos almost straight down, slowly!
it's fun to fly! ps it also has good power and climbs well! also is ballenced with the extra weight of the long boom (thicker than stock).

For the price, SAB 550's are the way to go. I love the way they fly. Cyberheli has the good deal on them.

OK, If I get SAB's 550. Doe's it matter which material type, Carbonfiber ($50.00 USD) or Glassfiber ($35.00 USD) ones.

Get the Fiberglass 550 SAB's. They fly, track, and auto great. I've flown NHP's, Modelsports, CMT's, and the stock woodies(aweful) and the fiberglass SABs feel so good in the air. I'm in the process of ordering two more sets within this week.

OK thanks, I was going to get the "MS" Carbons one's, but if you think the SAB glass are better. Then I'll get the Glass ones.

V-BLADES VS. SAB 600'S

Hey guys I run sab 600's and I love them. I was wondering if anyone had tried the 600 v-blades to compare. They'd have to be pretty awesome to get me to buy a pair though when you can get 2 sets of sabs for 1 set of v-blades!
