To my understanding, Avant is still testing the heli. As with any new design, there has to be extensive testing prior to making the product available on a grand scale to the public. I myself have been holding off on getting a 90 size machine in hopes that this new bird will be out soon. A spoke with an individual early today and he mentioned that he too wanted the Aurora but got tired of waiting so went with another company. I think the Aurora will be a great machine when its ready to hit the market. Good things come to those who wait.

I wait till my neck also long... Someone offered me a used Furry 3D yesterday. RM2700 with the bird and OS C-Spec. Well that very attracting offer but I will want to wait for Aurora. I like the look and the new design.

I had a used furry DDD for awhile in my early twenties. Her name was Elly. Inverted, skids down, knife edge -- she could do it all. I miss her.

Now Santa didn't bring me an Aurora ,but he did bring a $1000 gift certificate to buy one.

maybe in the UK, but I don't think it's going to be that price here. A Synergy is $980USD. What makes you think the Aurora is going to be 40% more.

After seeing an Aurora fly, I had my mind set on getting one. As time went on my hopes of getting one started to diminish. Although I like Carbon Extreme products, I've found that they seem to have issues when it comes to manufacturing quantities at a rate that allows for inventories to be maintained.

I finally decided to go with a proven product and purchased a Stratus. I'm very happy with it and will wait to see how CX support shakes out over time to decide on weather to get an Aurora or not. Personally I have a feeling that once the kits are released to the public, the next source of irritation will be spare parts availability.

For the sake of all of you intent on being the first on your block to have one of those beautiful helis, I hope I'm wrong.

Have a fantastic New Year guys!

I'm not to sure that statement is true. Because there is no paradigm of what CarbonXtremes manufacturing capacity is other than the Avant FX & EFX parts. It's not fair to say weather they can meet demand. I personally own an Avant FX and have never had a problem getting a single part.

Not only that. I've found them to be extremely efficient and thoroughly on top of there business. As with most first generation anything we will find issues that can be improved. But I don't think there will be a better flying or handling helicopter in the sky.

The Aurora is going to be " The Ferrari of the sky".

And weather it's released tomorrow, next month or next year when we get our hands on them we'll have something special.

Happy New Year to All!!!!!

I hope not, their reliability isn't quite up to Fords' standards.

We want performance and reliability, i would hope its compared to VAG.

You've totally missed my point. there is nothing more aesthetically beautiful than the Ferrari and when those 12 cylinders are singing, it's music. That's what I'm trying to say. Not mechanical reliability We don't have a clue as to the reliablity factors. (I can say my Avant FX is very reliable.)

This thing is a work of art and flies like it's on rails. Now do you get the picture.
