I'm new to this forum, but from what I've read from previous posts makes me want to contribute to it. good or BAD!!!!

Well i picked up my first heli, a raptor .30 arf with the infamous thunder tiger .36.and guess what it runs GREAT!!(so far). I really think this is a great beginner heli. So far its held up pretty well (on my second gallon of fuel) of my near fatal flying. I 've even hovered it over my pond. Ripples in the water were very cool...... I try to get a picture of it....

You could spend hours with a grappling hook trying to recover it... Then more hours opening all the radio gear up, rinsing it out with tap water, blow drying it, reassbling it.... Not worth it. The good news is theres ussually not to much damage hitting water

And the heli looks neat "hanging" by the floats in the water.....Don't ask
