Avant Aurora - EFX - FX > Convert Evo or wait?

Hi Guys

I was wondering were I will see a bigger improvement in performance, upgrading my Full metal head EVO 90 to an Avant EFX or just wait for the Aurora. The real question is how big is the improvement from EVO to EFX compared to EFX to Aurora, taking in consideration that I already have the evo so it is also $500 against $1000.

Thanks & Merry Christmas

I would wait, even though the Avant is a great model, I still get loads of problems with the tail and other hirobo parts, I'm waiting for the upgrade parts to convert to a complete Aurora

Hmmm... the choice is a tough one... my situation was almost the same one a few months ago... that said I don't own an Evo... knowing that the Aurora does keep all the advantages granted from the EFX kit I did switch my mind to the Aurora...

That said I'm pretty sure that the EFX is also a very good bet... let's suppose that you get an Aurora... will you still be flying your Evo?

Why don't you take an Aurora, selling your Evo?

Piece of advice: Owning 2 helis is the choice that will higher your satisfaction.

Just wait on the aurora. The best improvement that you can do is the programmable head, but if you do not use the FX/EFX frames you risk the chance of a boom strike (on the evo 90) when I first bought my EFX the programmable head was not out yet, and to be honest I was fairly disappointed because my heli flew just like a bigger more powerful 50. After I added the programmable head, my Avant woke up. It’s just that the programmable head it is quicker, more stable, and of course very shinny.

It's also more like about $630.00 vs. $985.00 (so were told). The efx kit is $585.00. Then you have to purchase the other Hirobo parts to complete the project. If memory serves me correctly, it comes out close to $630.00 for everything. If you wait on the Aurora you are getting a complete helicopter with programmable head for $355.00 more, not just and upgrade kit to put your blinged hirobo head on.

Does anyone know if they'll offer an upgrade kit so I can upgrade my FX to an Aurora?

Yes there will be an upgrade kit, it will be released a couple of months after the Aurora release, but I have no idea what it will include.
