Guys, what main shaft are you using in your Avant FX? I'm still having a few vibration problems with the used Avant that I just bought (got a dud). I ordered a 414111 but it is much longer than the one that is on the machine. The shaft that is in the helicopter has been cut off at the top though. I'm not sure what shaft it is. I guess I could make the 414111 work but the mounting holes have about one more inch of length between the lower bolt holes and the jesus bolt.

The Avant FX uses an Avant mainshaft P/N CX00-100-634

CX00-100-634? The one I found on their site is a CX00-100-601

Yes, the 601 must be it. I was looking in my manual which gave the 634 number. Must have been a parts change when the EFX came out.

The main shaft is hardened and hollow. That's probably why it costs so much.

414-111 is non-hardened mainshaft, it could bend in mild 3D flying.
Even i have bent two in std. Freya, after that i have bought hardened shafts.
Hardened Hirobo mainshaft costs more than Avant FX shaft.
