hello folks,
please help me with this situation.
i purchased a used xcell helicopter kit from a member here in RR and when i got the the kit. it had so many missing parts and cracked parts, its outragous.
i paid for the kit via Paypal and funded it with a credit card.
Paypal said they can't help me with this dispute and the seller will not return my PM and email. tried to call, but no answer.

what can i do to?

yep, that is your ticket, call your CC Co and dispute the charge, it will take 4-6 weeks for you to get your funds back, then so your on the up and up, ship the heli back to the person (after you verify that the funds were credited to you) at their expense, I know that DHL has a little box in which you can bill the reciever for the shipping costs, heck the few times (two) I had a problem I didnt even contact PP, they wont do a thing, they figure you have the product therefore the deal is complete....the CC co will back you but takes a tad longer....that said at least someone is looking after you and will help you with your problem (the CC co) this is why I ALWAYS fund a major purchase with a credit card....

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL REFUNDED AND DISPUTE CASES THAT HAVE BEEN WON ON PAY PAL AND EBAY.......MOST TIMES IT WORKS VERY WELL...... WHAT WAS THE REASON FOR THEM NOT HELPING YOU.... BECAUSE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PROVE THAT THE ITEM IS DAMAGED YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK.........

yea, that was what paypal said. since the product was delivered. they wouldn't do anything.

if i can my credit card company and dispute the charge. will that get me in trouble with paypal because i have a business that takes paypal funds.

the transaction happened on Nov 22 and the last time the seller said he will ship all the parts to me and that was over 2 weeks ago and till today nothing.

Paypal sucks with any disputes. If you got a box of rocks and the shipper has a tracking number they won't do a dang thing for you - and they'll take a month to tell you no. Contact your credit card company and it will be resolved quickly.

My friend I got screwed so bad by Pay Pal that it hurt.

Never do business with Pay Pay AKA Pay pal, they will always get paid and you won't, look at the problem I had with a guy named mustangt, he has now changed his handle, be careful on this site, the good guys are few and far between.

I have had to on occasion dispute charges made for online goods I have bought and have never had a problem with my credit card companies crediting my account while they investigate the dispute. So, call your credit card company, explain the situation and let them deal with it. If the funds were electonically deposited in the seller's account, they can be electronically removed also.

when i do business with paypal, i always keep that confirmation of payment in handy till i receive the item. That way, if it isnt as described, (more than 25 dollars) i can hit bad purchase and tell him to pay for shipping back to the seller. Never had to use it but its an added bonus for me
