I have been trying sideways loops with my Freya....today I did one at a very high speed and almost stalled the engine. The engine has always bogged some during hard aileron manuevers but never that badly. I am using 30% fuel with a Curtis MP, V Blades, OS61WC, and 30% aileron to throttle mixing.........
It doesnt bog much doing elevator loops or flips....just hard aileron manuevers at high speed. Aileron flips dont seem to bog too badly either. Any ideas?

The load from the tail! That heading hold gyro is cranking in some serious tail pitch I bet.

Just FYI, this issue is not specific to the Freya. You might get more responses if you post it to a general forum instead.
