| Hello.
I had a chance to have a go at the sticks on a new JR Voyager GS a couple of days ago.
Basically, it uses most of the parts on the 60 size JR Venture (available in Asia) except for the following differences from the basic Venture 60.
- push pull eCCPM
- all metal swashplate
- more bearings on the bell/hiller assemblies.
- different lower frame/clutch frame assembly to accomodate the engine.
It's a tad bigger than Xcells gas graphite, but astonishingly doesn't seem to weigh significantly more than the Xcell.
Flying it reminds me of the accuracy of the Hirobo Eagle2 GS, with the extra crispness provided by eCCPM on the cyclic. It's a very stable flyer (like most gassers) and shows no surprises.
In essense, it's a good successor to the Ergo gasser with stable manners and price wise is a good mix of value/performance. |
