Hi all,

Since Slider46 taunted me; I'm wondering if anyone here is flying a Trex600 yet?

How do you like it?

Cheers,
Leslie

I love my 600, but it sits in the garage just taunting me on weekends like this.

Rex 600

I got to give one a try that was brought to our indoor arena... it was a nice enough day that we spent a lot of time outside though...
It was not my heli, but I was able to put it into a hover and just move it around a little and it felt as if it were locked right in and solid as a rock.... no vibes, no smoke, and very little noise, if you can call the "gear" spinning noise....
He had a few metal upgrades on it, but it was the stock motor and battery set up, and it makes one nice heli....

If there is a cure for this, please don't tell me about it!!!

I had a friend bring his over yesterday and he wouldn't have anything else. It seem to handle smooth and responsive even in the 15+ mph wind. I was impressed until he said the battery was $300, ouch.

Of course what do I know I only have done one flight session with training gear. But you all have got me so interested in this hobby that I bought a Raptor 50 RTF today on RR.

Now entering my second childhood and loving it.

my favorite heli (so far)

hi leslie:
im fairly new to this site and as a matter of fact relatively new to heli's.i have a lot of heli's (im addicted)but the rex600 is my favorite for many reasons,it flys awsome and is very stable and responsive, for a newbie like myself that really helps a lot, some of my heli's are so twitchy they are harder for me to control.also i bring it to work with me everyday so a friend of mine and myself can meet halfway between where we work at a soccer field and fly at lunch, where we are flying they dont allow any nitro powered due to complaints from home owners around the field but they have no problems with the electric powered.matter of fact last week a police officer stopped by just to watch us fly.and yea my friend flys a rex600 also.

Hi diablo,

Welcome! New to the hobby? I see seven heli's in your profile...smirk.

Glad you like the 600, I'm having a ball this summer with it. I must get a couple more batteries, soon!

Cheers,
Leslie

like i said im ginda addicted,i actually am up to 17 helis but that is counting 4 conterrotating and 1 nexus that i picked up for parts it runs but not well.im selling all my planes and replacing them with helis. planes are cool but after flying helis there is no comparison to the rush i get. i have 2 6-cells for my rex but i still would like at least one more, they (the batteries)are always done before i am ready to stop flying.lol.i recently had a small crash with my rex (by small i mean almost totaled)so i just finished rebuilding it and while i was at it i added all the metal parts the hobby shop had in stock.now it flys even better than it did before.ive just started getting into the scale bodies, ive put my nexus 30 into a ecuriel,my t-rexSE into a ranger, and im working on putting a min-aircraft 60 with 90 tail boom into a 90 size bell 222 with retracts.when i get a chance to take pics im gonna have them in my gallery.oh and by the way the rex 600 is probably going into the new airwolf body by fusuno,it is made specifically for the 600 only problem is they stay out of stock.
