helli ,
i almost finished my scell gasser and wondering if i should use my governor on it .

If i do , how can i mount the magnet on the fan, i think there no hole on it ?

Maybe i can order an optical sensor ? is there any online shop that carry it ?

And also is vario the only one to carry a aftermarket air filter for a G230?
I would like one like in some benzin picture ,the chrome one .

If you need an optical sensor speak to raptordriver here on RR. Do a search or check his posts in the MA or Raptor sections. Or you can check out his website www.helidriver.com, theres a link to the optical sensor page.

As far as mounting goes I dont know sorry, but the optical sensor will get round the magnet problem.

Hope to buy me an XL Gasser one day soon.

use the short sensor bracket, mount it from the top-front-rite side engine mount boss (unused). Use 1 bolt to connect it to the lug and angle the mount to the rear about 15 or so degrees. You will then mount the sensor at an angle to square it up. You will have to trim the bracket, cutting off the second/lower hole. Use the radioshack magnet and you won't have to get as close to the fan. This will put the sensor right into the sweet spot of the fan, with clearance all around. You'll need to cut a hole in the fan housing baseplate for the sensor to poke through.

You'll want to do all that with the engine out of the heli. It does not interfere when putting the engine back in.

I did one of these and it has been holding up no problem for a few years. Governors are really nice on gassers.
