| BonkersTake a chill pill man! The guy offered you something, that's great you got an offer. If you don't like it then don't take it and never insult the buyer as that is a guarantee to bust the sale if ever possible.
From the buyer's point of view, he should offer WHATEVER he wants even if its $900 or $800 or $1100. You never know if the seller is going to accept and its best to offer what you are willing to spend on the item than not offer and walk away with the fear of insulting the seller. In my book there is no insulting the selling thing. If the seller gets insulted, then so be it, not the buyer's problem. If the seller agrees, great, its a sale. If the seller disagrees, well no problem either. Bottom line is you offer what you value it and see what happens as with no offer you stand no chance to buy whatever you're interested in.
Now from your point of view, if you don't like the offer fine say no thank you. Say I want X amount, say its firm but don't say something about the buyer's sister and mother! What does that accomplish? Nothing! So don't insult people, its not nice and don't get insulted by numbers, its not warranted!
