How good are the x-3ds at 3d. Are they overly twitchy and how bad are they Truthfully in the wind i have heard mixed reports about these micro helis and am wondering whether the are worth it in comparison to maybe a 400 size. Can you replace the linkages in them with adjustable linkages?
Thanks,
Sam

Depends on your skill level. I don't like much above 10 mph but have flown in more windy conditions. The heli is a handful if highly tuned up for 3D moves. Follow the info and video links here.

There are enough adjustable linkages on the heli, unless I miss understood the question.

The X-3D is a good value micro kit for the advanced flyer/builder. Just confirm that you get CF weighted blades included and not the flexible GF blades. You can also get AlmostReadyToFly versions now but not sure what the extra $15 gets you. For more info try asking jjezek@mscomposit.com.
