miataguy,

Do you notice any difference without the horizontal fin in forward flight?

Or was this due to the unassembly project?

how did you bend the crank on the os91? It seems it would have been goin str up and down? I have crashed my freya several time and have a high speed vibration I been chasing that is why I am asking?

Landing gear/ground pushed into the MPII.

This rocked the engine over and bent the shaft. The CF frames are very rigid vertically, however, they can give horizontally.

OK by me. Saved me $200 in CF frames. With the pinion, clutch, fan mount and bearings the crankshaft was the weakest part, so it bent.

wow, 1 thing i hate about my heli (my sceadu 30) when i crash it lol. i tryed to do nose in one time and it was only about 1 foot of the ground (on grass) and then it went onto its side. me really wanting to fly it again i just bend the flybar back straight again lol and tryed to fly it but stupied me dident check what damage i done. i was messing around just reving it lol and then it shot 15 ft in the air then blades just started to slow down and guess what it just fell . then it dident just do that it fell on concret my air raid shelter then rolled down a hill. and found out that the little plastic part that the arm connects to on the server (throttle) has broken off. and that was all what was broken. and my carbon blades not a scratch on them tough heli the sceadu.

damn i have crashed it about 7 times now and all have funny stories lol.

whats the diffrence between the x-spec to the sceadu apart from the canopy....probley just a few diffrent parts still looks like a nice heli might just get one if i can build the cash up.

thanks, kevin

The X-Spec is the lightweight version of the Freya. It is a 60 class heli. Mine was running an OS 91

I crashed my x-spec today.
Frames survived
landing gear survived
broke every mixing arm on the head (I think the hardened mainshaft is to blame)
broke the head button
I'm impressed, this is one tough bird
