Yes, it'll work fine but doesn't need the 6:1 gearbox. Take that off.

you'll need to run a very hi tooth pinion,,, you should have bought a c40 8l or 9l,,

I don't see why a 12S should need any funny pinions. According to the info I have, C40 12S kV=3500. C40 9L kV=3333. C40 8L kV=3750. I've got a 10S in mine and it's just a tad fast (4200).

hacker says c40 9l is the best for voyager, besides there is no such thing as a hacker c40 12s,,,it is a c40 12t and it has less than 3500 kv the last number on the motor is it's turn(winding spec) the higher the turns the slower the motor is,, the "l" means lenght,,and you need the l version for the voyager because the voyager is heavy the longer motor provides more torque and power..the "t" versions are designed for r/c cars.. www.hackerbrushless.com
