Compass Knight 50 > ball links catch on flybar?

I have a plastic version that is getting close to a first flight. I noticed using the stock setup as given in the manual, the ball links on the mixing arms hit the set screw on the back of the stabilizer control arm when you are at full negative pitch and full left or right cyclic and fully deflect the flybar in that direction.
Actually, you can not fully deflect the flybar without forcing it.
Looks to me like the rod needs a slight bend in it for clearance.
What is everyone else doing to correct this?

FYI-I am getting + or - 12 with 6+ degrees of cyclic.

Fly it the like you stole it, as at the price they cost you almost did. I have sen them fly setup per the instructions and they fly very well. Check the links after the first flight or two. I dont think you will ever get the links to while in flight

They are actually catching at full positive pitch or couple of degrees less. No need to give it cyclic either. I see on the metal versions they have the ball link on the side of the mixing arm away from flybar, plastic version is on the same side as the flybar. I just added a small bend in the rod below the threads just like you do on the Freya rods.

You are correct on the price, I bougth it as a practice ship.

Only big issue so far has been the Tail Rotor drive gear rubbing the bottom of the main gear, in fact they would catch. My kit came with the aluminum T/R gear to replace the plastic one.

If you are speaking of the pushrods that go between the swashplate and the mixing arms, mine rubbed also (I have the all metal version of the Knight). I bent the pushrod slightly in a non-threaded area to provide clearance.

This is, by the way, a great flying helicopter!

I didn't like the idea of bending the linkage to avoid the interference, so I removed the stem portion of the metal ball. This eliminated the problem without bending the pushrods.
