| I finally got to fly mine and for the 8 minutes I had her up it flew beautifully. I am using the stock paddles and I did not find it to be overly sensitive. I am not a very experienced pilot as the only other bird I have flown is my .30 raptor that I got back in Feb.
Anyway, I was doing some hover bouncing thing where I would just hover and then jump on it and bring it back down...just to get the feel of the power and collective response. Well, I jumped on it for the last time and apparently the crystal fell out of the receiver! I had not set any failsafe so it just held in the full throttle position. It made about a 150' high arc...of course ending up landing on the back half of the arc, full power inverted! After a week of mourning, I have finally taken it apart to get a full parts count. It actually didn't do too much damage considering the speed of impact. The tailboom is barely broken, and the struts, torque tube and everything else is OK. I guess the fact that the V700's destroyed themselves before contacting any of the heli saved a lot
Anyway, my setup is...er was the YS .61 (the pump is a beautiful thing) with a Hatori 666 pipe. JR 8411 high torque servos for cyclic. The 401/9253 gyro combo.
Man, just thinking about it...I am back in mourning
