| Well, I have finally flown a Bergen. I have been doing aerial photo work, and have been making do with a Raptor 50 Hyper - but recently partnered up with another company and am now maintaining and flying a very nice Bergen EB with a Hanson G26 swinging 840's.
This heli had been sitting for quite a while, and I took it out to get my feet wet with it for a while. It flew like a dream. Steady, smooth, stable - and GOBS of power. Only thing that went wrong was that one of the boom supports came lose from the airframe and was hanging from the tail boom. I landed with a little backward motion so the support would fold forward. Worked fine. Also noticed on landing that the muffler was a little loose.
Looking forward to flying some more - great machine.
