Hi Ok

I have the HHI motor mount and now the e550 motor and speedy, Not sure what to do with the batteries yet, the tank will come out,so I'll see what fits where, got some 5000mah 3s lipos that I'll run as a pair, so maybe I'll put one each side of the frames... not sure if to use a seperate battery or a bec....

just need to find time to do it now...

I run 2 3s1p packs and have put them down the side frames , but I do need to get at them when it goes into it hughes 500 shell
i made up an ali mounting bracket and screwed it to the side frame and just use re-usable cable ties and velcro to hold the batteries in place
i've put the gyro in the fuel tank space and the esc on the gyro plate

Clutch??

Hi

Just today finished (almost) my shuttle RG(metal) conversion....
comes in at 7.5 Lb with batteries,, head speed is a bit manic but it probably feels more hovering in a small garden

OK everything seems good so far, except the clutch is getting quite hot, so I assume there is some slipping going on....

anyone else had this? maybe its just time for a new liner

using the thunder tiger raptor speedy and motor as suggested earlier in the posts

As I though, Have to wait a week as there is no liners in stock at Midland heli... I am sure it will survive a 10 min flight or two

Just some wire tidy to do and change the RX for 2.4gig, Just noticed I left the old throttle servo on!

Still concerned about the weight?

Whats everyone elses electric RG weigh??
