I met you a while ago, you checked out my raptor on a really windy day in Rotorua then flew your plank with Neil.

Yes i did plantone 2 week ago it was my gazuur you know the pretty looking heli. I was hovering inverted & the hyperion 3900xl motor died, only bent the tail boom & broke the upper frames.
You should have a fly of my 600 nitro pro when you come up youl like it alot.

Hamilton was perfect today.

A number of us took Friday off and had a Mini Funfly in Hamilton today, Perfect blue skys, no wind and lots and lots of flying which makes a changed from the @$#% weather lately.

I damaged the landing gear on my FuntanaX100 and broke two ball links on TRex600 when I did an impromptu inverted autorotation but when you are taking the day off work nothing matters .....

Both the Hamilton & Rotorua events hopefully will awesome.

Yeah I am trying to make my evo 50 a bit more responsive Wayne. It's a bit sluggish now. Thinking the collective servo is not grunty enough but I was looking at the 600 pro the other day.....EEK
I was quite well built. I may take you up on that offer.

I am so well set up for Hirobo that It would be a big change. I guess a really cheap basher with good performance is what I need now. I still fight with the ground a lot.

Yeah, I hear that and I have him to thank for this hobby (addiction?) actually. He put me in touch with 'The Don' initially. I thought he wasn't coming this time around but perhaps he is. If so it might be a 3 way horse race. In any case I'm sure it will be a blast! Can't wait to have a good ole catchup. Glenn is coming too so it should be interesting.

My flying sucks compared to these other guys. But I do crash well.

kiwimark....please stop holding back and tell us what you really think. I dunno....us kiwi's always beating around the bush (in more ways than one)

See all you guys at roto. Hell I hope mother nature doesn't have her rags.
Robin, Jason....I'm having beans (nachos) thursday night....heh heh.

Would you prefer 20% robin? I can do that and just remix the remainder to 15% easy enough. If so what do you think you will burn?
I'm thinking 25 to 30 litres between us....ok?

No not nachos!!! Argh hope the cabin has got lots of windows to open.
The long range forcast looks promising, lots of praying to the heli gods this week.

I think 25litres will be heaps between us, better to have extra if needed. 15% will be sweet!

oh yeah baby! Nachos it is then. Gonna play dutch ovens...yah?

No worries......15% nitro, 18% cp blue and 67% methanol in mine (67% corn syrup in yours...LOL) Dangerous goods certificate gained for the travelling bomb and my best yankee accent so we can communicate to our other heli brother.

Yes looked at the Wx and keeping fingers crossed. You Trex dudes will have to help me get that Trex going....I got two days to build the rest of it when I get home....Decided to use the aurora's arizona for the ship. Got a high rate discharge 1500 mah for the RX (yah...small I know but nice and light and plenty of power for the 9155's) Should get 4 flights ok from it. Have to save the weight of the bling somehow! got those metal blade grips as the plastic ones caused the bearings to go notchy when tightened up...think there may be some plastic between that tight washer and the inner bearing.
Got those align metal brg blocks because I don't like the design of those plastic ones where there is no solid "lockdown" with the screws into those metal crossmembers. Yuk. fussy...huh?

Also got the align washout arms, mixing arms and flybar thingy all because....apparently....they look good. LOL. Plastic would have been fine but I like it when my balls are solidly locked with a machine thread and locktite. Got that little 18G adapter plate for the hitech 81 MG for the throttle and the futaba wheels for the 9155's. All my Aurora gear seeing as that is just a figment of everyones imagination. Got those metal canopy standoffs and the gyro mount. Thats all so hopefully she will go well.

Got to run that align engine in (read OS hyper 50) 5 Tanks and then that will have to do...after that shes in for a workout.

Pm me your cell Robin and Jason.
Cheers
