10 litres Robin! Wholy nitro hog batman.....you could get at least 15 done like we did in carterton. LOL

Rob If I get to go to Rotorua (don't know till next roster comes out) I will be driving and can squeeze in one. You would just have to get to palmerston north....dont know if that would be cheaper or not.

rotorua would be best for you wouldn't it....gonna be some 3D going down there.....Want to see where you are up to. You can teach me those 4 point tic tocs.

I'll be heading to Hamilton from Auckland for the weekend (do you think the weather is good enough to camp at the field?). I may be bringing one other, but I should have room for one more. The Logo 10's don't take up that much room

Also, does the Hamilton field have power? Otherwise I might have to pick up a spare car battery

Sorry, no power on our Hamilton field. Might be a little cold for camping but there are no restrictions.

Looks like Rotovegas is the go! Will try & rev up Peter & Donald to come up too. If we all come up we can hire a car for the weekend & split the cost.
Will keep ya posted.

Cheers, Robin

PS. Was joking about sleeping at the field, everybody down here thinks that I do.
Usually first to arrive & last to leave.

No wonder you're the 'boy wonder' on the sticks then. Would be great to get you all up here but either way, we'll sort something out for you.

yes be great to have you guys up again. Tell pete I aint seen a good high speed crash since carterton.....LOL nah dont tell him that. Otherwise might be my turn! (although I am one of the best crashers I know)
Just what pete needs. As long as that bloody greenwood dont go pinching his ass again.....lol

Anyone got a 60 kc carb they dont want? I'm ditching the perry on the sxh and going kiss. Maybe it will run better.
Keeping the szh out for that most elusive of heli's.....(aurora)

Dude thats the hassle with those electrics....I carry fuel to the field and we are good to go!

Hope to see you there....all going well with the roster in all.

You should see my high speed crashes, second to last one was a tail slide with an extremely low pull out. So low in fact that it broke the boom in three places & smashed the MP2 in two pieces & cracked the engine casing. Last one was the canopy coming loose in flight & getting stuck on the swash plate, lucky that it landed on its feet & only broke a skid.
One plank crash clipped the long grass & broke the main spar in the wing. Thats my 3 for now so Im good for a little while.

Wont mention your comment to Peter think he is still annoyed about that crash.

Got another one keen to come up, Kevin Crawford.
Peter is in, not sure about Don yet.
If anyone pinches my ass there will be trouble.

Glad to here you are attempting backwards inverted may be i will now have someone to dragrace that way at long last, its a lot of fun when the brain finally works it out.
Sounds like i need to get Julie peeling onions now for Rotorua event, How about you all bring some night blades aswell & we will really make a weekend of it.
Wayne, Rotorua
PS glenn flew new nitro 600 pro at the weekend with YS 50 & funtech pipe 770 gyro, doing aeros on the first tank & 3D ing by the 7th this machine is awesome.

Yeah Wayne, back to the SIM bigtime for me. I'm getting there. Once I worked out that the sticks go the same direction it was a BIT easier. But the elevator is the tough one. I keep reverting to normal inverted flight on the elevator. Ugh. Oh well, that's the great thing about this hobby, just when you master one thing, there are a 100 more yet to learn. Never a dull moment and each new maneuver brings back the pucker.

I have to say though that the Trex 600N has revitalized my flying. Loving it!

I have mastered the art of crashing. It's really easy once you get used to it.

Step one.
Have little fear

Two
Turn off brain

Three
Think you are better than you fingers actually are

Four
Hand over credit card to model shop

Now I am a professional so dont go trying all of these steps at once by yourself at home....k?

If I get to Rotorvegas I will have a small area for heli's and a large area for parts. Anyone crash a hirobo....I'll have you covered. LOL

I just got a preassignment on my new roster. Preassignments are not set in concrete but often not changed.
I get back from LA on the 23rd. Enough time to tweak and be up there for the 26th. If that doesn't change I'll be seeing ya there.
Cool.

Better get ass in gear for some accoms.

Robin and Pete.....I know it's expensive for you guys to come up but be cool to have you there. Wanna cram all our **** into a small room again!!!! LOL. That carterton deal was like sleeping in a matchbox....but good fun. Maybe this year we can get a fire going with all those batteries charging at once.

Tell pete he's got no excuse...needs a getaway.

Like your user name Wayne.....have you done that recently?

Got my roster....see you in Rotorua.
Wayne....need to talk to you about the dark side. Getting serious.

p.s Wayne that JR 770T is brutal. JR really seems to have nailed this gyro versus some of their other offerings. Sold the spare I had. Kinda wish I had sold the 601 instead. Getting it sorted but the stops sound like the belt wants to break....it's like hitting a brick wall. I have put in nearly 50% expo and got to go easier...really dont want to just let the rudder snap back to central on the tx!

Anyone got a 60 K-C carb they can part with?

Cheers
Glenn
