I must try one of the Curtis ATG governors out but dont know if I can be bothered the Align one is miles cheaper and does the job well for hat I do. Jonny is using it as well and as far as I know he doesnt have a problem with it.
they are also free with the 600SP and 700 kits, cant beat free if you ask me.

MultiGov Pro

Hey Nut,

The MultiGov Pro is the new Gov produced by Aerospire. It is one of the easiest Gov's in the world to set up and it god dam near bomb proof. You can run them in different flight modes as a Gov or Overspeed (Rev Max).

The new Pro version also has the facility to do onboard mixture control in flight. The only additional cost is a micro servo and the links!!!

The X90 is still currently down so haven’t had a chance to test out the onboard mixture but as a Gov I love them too.

Hope that answers your questions.

hmmmm.....not convinced. Had a mate down here and we couldn't get the bloody thing to hold a descent rpm if at all. His sensor may have been a problem. When I bought the revmax I haven't looked back......It really does hold the headspeed at what you set. Mine has never let me down and from looking at it through the optical tach it holds the headspeed brillantly....it's very small and does not need a setup thingy for it.

I have a cutis ATG. Anyone want to buy it? I'll get another rev max. However if I get the 700N I'll just use their govenor on my scale machine and put the rev max on the trex.

Anyone sort out a descent sensor for the carb smart?

I have yet to destroy a carbsmart sensor, I think the multigov ones work on them but dont know if they are any better or not.

They are exactly the same sensor/thermistor. BUT, Bob Li includes 4 sensors so you can solder up your own if they fail. Nice that he teaches you how to fish instead of just selling you the fish.

I still have the very first throttle jockey the one with clear heat shrink round it it still works great.

Csm revloc are awesome too & easy to set up & small & dont need a pluggy in thingy. The new revloc30 is a governor rev limiter & when link to a cycloc it will back of the collective pitch when you bog it which is great for idiots like me that cant pitch manage for ****. Go CSM.

Im worried now you might like the vibe & my solid g & not give it back. It was the fastest machine drag racing in wellington.

Thanks Wayne I have heaps of freya parts already and don't intend doing a lot with it....especially crashing it!! Cheers Anyway.
I'd like to cash up what I am not using to get a few different things.

I see you are virtually giving away your vigor. Doesn't it suck how they lose so much value yet mostly they are kept as good as new. The freya may end up in a fuse yet. I haven't got to the giving it away stage

The thought of having to import parts + the cost of crashing would probably be enough to make me give your vibe back

My income is like 6 grand a year (from holiday job) so after you take away birthdays/food/alcohol/petrol/girlfriend theres not a lot left for the helis. I'll be giving $500 to my brother and his fiance for their wedding present this weekend so that drops it down even more.

Ive kinda budgeted enough to get a 700N up and running and maybe a crash or two for this year.. good thing the parts are almost as cheap as the 600N

do you have another sister? For weddings I'd put away none of my heli budget.....I went to a dry wedding once and kept looking for a knife sharp enough to cut my wrists.

your a student eh? Thats 70% of your budget right there.

girlfriend

Teach her from the start jonny that she plays second fiddle to the heli's.

Does that help?

Hell if you give way $500 for a wedding, I might have to get divorced and remarried
