| An Airtronics-brand 2.4 gHz module for the Stylus is apparently in the works.
Long Live The Stylus, still the fastest stick-to-servo tx on the market.

| Are there any plans to introduce a new high end radio? If not, are there any plans to upgrade the RD8000?
"Right now, we are testing aircraft 2.4GHz in the RD8000 platform. As soon as this is refined and ready for market we'll be looking at the following:
1. Finishing development on a 9-10 channel radio to replace the Stylus. More channels, easier programming, new ergonomics, 2.4GHz option.
2. Sometime after that, we'd like a more powerful sport radio like the RD8000 but with a little more power. The RD8000 is a great radio for some categories, thus the reason it is slated to be the first 2.4GHz Airtronics radio. But it is time for a sport radio that can handle a 6 servo wing, has sliders, etc... There's other little improvements that can be thrown in too when the time comes.
3. 2.4GHz module for Stylus. Just cuz' it's old doesn't mean people will stop using it. I'm still amazed at the wide-spread use of this famous computer radio.
4. After that, I'm guessing you'll continue to see wide-spread changes, upgrades, and innovation throughout the line. Sanwa Japan seems to have found new life and enthusiasm. The amount of new development is shocking!"
