I'm running the X-Spec head on my Avant, with the Avant kit mods and CX programmable dampers. I am getting a "wobble" when descending i.e. the machine rocks from left to right quite quickly. As soon as I load up the head, it goes away.
Any suggestions? Also, is anyone running the CX programmable dampers with this head, if so, what combo are you using?

From my own experience that sounds like blades being a bit too tight.
My settings on that head were B Rings and 70 durometer no shims.

I forgot to mention that the Freya X-Spec head bladegrips develop slop at the bearigns that needs to be eliminated and they also create that wobble. The most common fix is to replace the center spacer ring that's in between the bearings by a bearing for a total of three bearings per bladegrip. Each bearging needs to be installed with GREEN loctite so that the bearings sits in place without play.

There are quite a few old posts about this mod in the hirobo forum.

Found the problem, the screws holding the ratio block on the seesaw had come loose a little, and this was enough to cause the problem. Thanks for the help though.
