So are Golf Clubs. So are sailboats. So are dirt bikes. So what's your point?

Try putting these "toys" in the hands of children and see how long they keep their hands. Treat them like "toys" and see how long it takes the government to outlaw them.

Don't treat them like toys is the point.

I think anything we can't "justify" can be called a toy. Some are just more dangerous than others.

One thing that irritates me is when I'm carrying my helis into the shop after a flight session and some middle aged woman drives up, rolls her eyes, and says "boys and their toys..." whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.

I always say: "in today's world, it's ALL toys..." if they press me, I say:

Just the right microwave
the right couch
the right car (and color)
the big screen tv
the barbque
the deck
the hairdryer
the hair curlers

etc...etc...etc.
