| I bought the all indluded set up from helidirect and No, it is not just "Plug and Play".
It is fairly simple to get to work though. Will will need bullet connectors to connect the motor and esc wires together. You need a "Y" harness for the power and some heat shrink.
You have to take a set of wires from an old motor and solder just the black end to the black wire of the brushless signal converter. Plug the connector where it was before in the 4-and-1. The esc has a servo type plug that plugs into the brushless converter.
The three black wires from the motor have no markings, but if the heli blades spin the wrong direction, you just uplug two of the bullet connectors (from the motor and esc) and switch them. Now the main blades will spin the right way.
I have to say, that cheap little motor from helidirect is pretty darn powerful with a 9t pinion.
Hope this helps. |
