Some local fliers have been doing this, but nobody knows what it's called.

Basically the heli pulls up into a stall, heli rolls while it's stalled and coming backdown.

A rolling tail slide is what I think you are referring to.
Be careful, it's real easy to overspeed the head and engine at 0 degrees pitch on the way down, but it does make for blindingly fast backwards rolls which look cool.
