Hi all,

I'm curious what you folks are doing for the winter season. This is aimed at those in northern climates that, generally, preclude outdoor flying.

I fly small fixed pitch heli's in my basement and work alot with my sim.

What do the rest of you all do to keep up the heli skills??

Cheers,
Leslie

The cold weather is why BelindaInMobile and I both moved to the deep south, it's always relatively warm here .... the coldest it ever gets is about freezing

I just got a Blade CP Pro to fly indoors. I was flying it in my appartment this week, hopefully our club will get a gym like they had last year. Maybe I'll work on a video camera system for fun.

I was asking around at our club about flying outside in the winter, seems like some do with gloves. For sure it'll be different, no sitting out in the field all day...

So much to do in the summer, compared to winter. . On the other hand I will try to get as much school work done to hopefully have time to enjoy next summer as much as possible!
