Those should be fine -

It's the feathering shaft bolts that do not get it from the factory builders.

I have an early kit (all metal). There was no locktite on the feathering shaft bolts. It takes only a few minutes to take it apart and add it.

Everything else has been tight and locktited.

I'm putting my plastic Knight together and there wasn't any loc-tite on the feathering shaft either. So far though the fit and quility of everything is good. I broke the fin/boom support mount because I over tightened it I guess, but no biggy. The two halfs don't fit flush together.

The manual now states that the feathering shaft has NOT been loctited. It's a good idea to make sure the larger ID thrust bearing race is towards the head and after lube of the bearings face the open side towards the head as well, to help keep the grease from flying out.

The tail fin bracket is supposed to have a little gap on each side when tightened --- ooops!

mine is going together awesomely! one problem though i had was my fault cause when i set up the ccpm i did it with the throttle stick down so i shortened my elevator link and then i realized that its supposed to be center at center so i undid my eleator linkage and now one ball link wont come off i think i tighttened it to tight but oh well i still got it to line up though

I've managed to test fly my knight 50 sport today with Impresive resuts, It took a little while to get things to my taste and dial out small ammounts of interaction once all done it flew realy well, tracks nicely in fast flight and the tail is sweet good aurority with little whiping under load, So time to practice piro stuff lower without the worry of 90 size expense

Today I used the green thunder tiger paddles altough v paddles maybe better and applyed Ade law's mixer arm mod to get the cyclic rate up maybe not needed for most but it rolls and flips much quicker altough not quiet as acurate as the stock set up, With the V blades fitted the collective is a scream!! good and fast with rapid stops
when neededAll in all a good day out!!

Got my Knight Sport airframe built, just gotta kit it out with radio gear and engine. Must say the plastic frames seem very stiff. Head seems very robust aswell, looking forward to getting this baby going!!

I like the response of the plastic head just as well as the metal. I have not been meticulous about the CG setting port to starboard or fore and aft yet and at 1850 head speed inverted, it is a nice solid platform. Also when doing forward inverted circles it requires very little down elevator to stay on track.

On mine the blades tracked perfect the first flight and it only required very little trim to the left and that was it. Con't wait ti beat on it this weekend.
