I will be getting my fury real soon and I plan on using a boom mount for the tail servo. My q is about the "lever" between the tail servo and the T/R. Is it 1:1 or is there some mixing going on there? Will I have some trouble or have to do anything special. CB

Another problem you will have is getting the wires from the rear mounted servo to the front where the gyro is. It can be done but it wont look good. Some Fury's have built nose heavy, mine did not. I would be concerned about finding a suitable mount for the servo. I do not know of anything made for the small diameter of the M/A booms. I do not think you will gain anything from doing this. Most of the major crashes I have had using a tail mount servo have resulted in pulling the wire out of the servo. his can be costly and time consuming to have repaired.

Actually the SE servo mount should bolt right on. The hole pattern is the same at the boom mount.

Initially I bought the X-Cell boom mounted servo kit then I realized it was a waste of money. The system used in the Fury is as rigid and slop free as you can make it. Now I have them all stock. All the demo pilots are flying it with the stock tail servo system with obvious excellent results.

Hi,

The minair se/pro tail boom servo mount works. My main reason for using it was the overworked ds9253m is going to stay cooler out in the turblent air as compared to inside the canopy. Plus fewer links = less friction and play.

CG Worked out fine but I did use a 2000mah scrc pack up front.
