| I left a gap of about 1 mm. on each side. That meant that the seesaw would slide 2 mm. total. That was enough to make it impossible to even spool up.
Now, I leave it in direct contact with the lever and have found no more problems. I have finally been able to hover for hours...
Another issue that now that I am hovering I have run into, is that the blades loose track very easily. In other words, I set the pitch and throttle curves as per the manual (using a JR 8103)and after a few packs (I use 2,000 mA for every 10 mins of hovering) the model started to vibrate a little. I went nuts checking all the shafts, all the levers and rods, everything, only to find out that the blades were off track again. Obviously I had not hit anything nor had I landed hard either, so the last thing I had in mind was the tracking.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
By the way, after re-setting the pitch curve it got right on track and the vibrations went away. |
