I have 5 helis. My Hornet X3D is the only one where I cannot turn the main blades backward or fold them back so it is a pain to move around. The main blades always freewheel and get jammed against something! What is this setup called and can it be changed.. (or maybe it shouldn't be!) Thanks

The stock plastic blade grips are too short or the blade roots are the wrong shape, a bit annoying . Either get metal blade grips (TE076 $50) or change blade to KOK Extréme white blades distributed by Duzi (or Modefo's MT3000E CF Main bldes...). Further info way down this tips page.

Not sure what you mean. Sounds normally as the X-3D has a 'one way' bearing for... auto's but they are very tricky to get the timing right for such a low inertial mass rotor. Feels Ok to auto in below 1m high which I quite often do when landing in grass to avoid tail snags as it stops along with the motor before touch down, also bleeds off most of the head speed in case of a tip over.

Yeah it's the one way bearing. Tt's annoying to me. I'm going to try an auto from 1m next time out! And I'll try those blades next time I buy.
