Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > Easy header tank install

Just though i'd share this you will need a K&S header tank (round)
2 x Raptor V1 canopy mounting posts
4 x 3mm nuts
2 x 20mm by 3mm allen bolts

The holes are already in the frame perfectly spaced
Install the bolts (easier with tank out) and lock with 2 x 3mm nuts on each bolt ,screw on the raptor posts assemble the header tank and fit, easy!!

Looks really nice droid....

Here's how i did mine using a standard header. If anyone in the uk wants a standoff then let us know as i turned them up so they just clear the tank.

Does your stand off screw into the bearing block or are you using a long bolt?

It screws in (didn't like the idea of a bolt that long holding the bottom bearing mount)..

There's a 20mm piece of 3mm threaded rod that's permanently fixed into the standoff. You just put a bolt into the header tank end, use this to tighten the standoff fully home and then replace that bolt with the tank.

Cheers

Neat, i like the way it keeps it more inline with the ol carb, this heli was obviously designed for a pumper.
