Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > Main Shaft wobble?

I am in the process of getting ready to install the swash and build the head but I have one concern. I spinned the main gear and noticed the main shaft is wobbling a little at the top. It is very slight but it is there. Is this normal before all the head parts are installed. I wouldn't think that the main shaft is bent. Additionally the main gear wobbles a little up and down when I spin it. I have went over the instruction and I put everthing together as the manual states. There is no vertical play in the main shaft. Any inputs would be great. Thanks

The main shaft should not wobble at the top. Check the main shaft runout by taking it out and roll it on a flat glass table.

Regarding the main gear, try flipping the gear over from its current position. Sometimes the gear can be made to wobble if a screw or two is tighter than others.

Won't you quit your whining take your negative vibes elsewhere, this heli is the dogs furry bits and nobody ain't gonna tell me any different!

Seriously have you measured it or maybe just an optical illusion?

My maingear was very well manufactured did you tighten the bolts down evenly and at opposites, is it sitting absolutely flush, sometimes a slight chamfer is required as the machined edge is too sharp and will foul the radius on the m/gear hub.

I have a .0035 runout at the yoke end in a main shaft that I straightend in a lathe with a torch and an ice cube, .0035 was as od as I could get it and I was concerned. Tyler flew he machine and it was solid as a rock. I think that between the G10-Plastic bearing blocks and dampners the runout was absorbed, this is a benefit of these matl.s
GO FOR IT! IMO

Contact Synergy via their website, there were a few bad main shafts that made it into the first batch of kits. Synergy is taking care of the issue. They fixed me up right away.

Main shaft problem

Hi!

The main shaft in my kit wobbled too.
Synergy replaced it within two days.

The new one was perfect.

I am going to contact Synergy. The mainshaft is bent a little and my main gear is indeed warped and everything I try will not work to get it straight. Not a big deal, things happen.
