Going overseas for a couple of weeks so will not be able to update until I get back. As of today, no hardware, no refund, no nothing. Bout what I expected sadly. He can issue a refund via PayPal but choses not to and I don't want a drip feed, I didn't drip feed him.

Thanks everyone for watching, maybe it will save someone else some trouble with Anema769, er Rod, er JES - whatever his name actually is.

Why don't you simply post your bad experience in his Good guy listing...?? it will make others think twice before dealing with him in the future. It may not help you but it may prevent someone else having to go through similar or worse crap. Members brag about their GG list but unfortunatly the sour deals are never recorded.

Still MIA

Ok, I am back from overseas and the extra missing hardware has still not turned up so either:

a) he lied and never sent any of the hardware he forgot to send or

b) both extra parcels got lost in the mail (kinda hard to believe)

Plus no refund of course, as expected.

I have ordered all of the missing parts from overseas and am going to chalk this up to experience. I have already placed a good guy comment for him but since there is no bad guy list yet (Mark?) I may simply go back and comment in the good guy list again.

I am not going to post any more details about this individual (though I could) because I believe they may be unstable and I simply do NOT want to inflame the situation anymore.

Be careful out there guys and gals buying in RR land....

lol, oh no not another dorklander Oh well atleast you aren't moving to Dunedin . I have been in Seattle for about 7 years and have 2 kids who I would like to attend school in NZ so we might be moving back in the next couple of years, unless we can afford to move to a good school district in Seattle ($600,000 minimum for a house in these areas)
How have you liked NZ?
Are you planning on staying in NZ long term?
Where do you fly in CHCH?
Any legal issue you have experienced flying in NZ?
Why haven't you already sent me Milo bars and L&P????
The flying in Seattle is good.....if the sun is out and it isn't raining....so for 2 days a year the flying rocks!! You can see some examples in my Gallery.
Is it easy to buy heli stuff online and ship to NZ (not counting the expence)? I normally shop at helihobby.com and horizonhobby.com, both have fantastic customer service and ship fast but I haven't checked if they ship to NZ.
Are there no Heli hobby shops in CHCH?
maybe I could move back and start one. I can't think of a better way to become pennyless

Well good luck on the move and try not to get too stuck up, I hear it is very catchy and every Aucklander has it

I am waiting by my mailbox and there still isn't any Milo bars or L&P in it

Thanks mate. Yup, love NZ. Been living here the full 11 years now. My Grandfather was a Kiwi and I am a dual citizen. I'll never live in the US again. I fly at McLeans Island here in ChCh. My Girlfriend is also a Kiwi. Not much of ANY legal crap here in NZ - just one of the reasons I love it! I buy all my stuff from overseas - the shops are a ripoff here and no one has all the gear anyway. We order from HeliKraft, Cyberheli, QUK, etc. No problems and it gets here in a few days.

Auckland has longer, warmer summers than down here so that was the biggest motivation for us. WARMTH! Yeah. ChCh is bloody cold and miserable a lot of the time.

Damn leave the guy alone its obvious he didnt try and screw the guy... last heli I sold on RR i forgot to send something and sent it as soon as I remembered and that wasnt a problem... he offered to pay the difference and its not like he knew it was a 60 boom... you guys are making a huge deal out of nothing...

Ive read quite a bit of it... the guy offered to paypal him the money and he never got the paypal address... he sent the head tank with paddles and whatnot... honestly im suprised this many people have the time to sit here and bitch at a guy over a mistake... ive seen less complaining about someone who intentionally ripped someone off of an entire helictoper...

I have been a member here for a short period. I am new to the heli scene after being away for almost 20 yrs. I found this site and was thrilled to see the endless amount of information available here. I have met some great guys who will go out of their way to help with almost anything. I have even had the pleasure to speak to a few on the phone. But, after spending a great deal of time reading posts on many message boards here, I can say this, almost everyone here is here for the same reason, they love to fly helis. And because of that they all help each other and look out for each other. But, screw somone once and you done. I read this post from the beginning and from what I see and can read into, anema769 knew what he was sending and when it came down to it, he then just played a game because the buyer complained too much.
I will soend alot of time on this site because of the overwhelming response by members who want to help. Sad to say that if I had read about this guy in the beginning I probably wouldn't have stuck around.

I have already what my final position is in all of this. The only reason the thread got bumped is because someone saw where I was based and wanted to say hi.

Now, back to the original post, I never got the parts that he said he sent, nor was I going to be drip-fed the money I was owed via PayPal. I didn't drip-feed my initial payment. I would not be at all surprised if LoganAZ IS Anema, just trying to help his rep on RR.

lol... ive got plenty of post and feedback to proove im not him... but if he truely didnt send you the parts thats wrong on his part and anema you need to list whats NOT included if its in the picture... jag just be thankful he didnt screw you big time and not send the heli at all...

I am VERY thankful for that. I have all the bits I had to buy extra now and I'm happy with the bird the way it is. What started out as a great deal has turned out to be a so-so deal but I'm happy. Life is too short to stress too much about people with low ethics and morals. Time for everyone to move on...
