I am writing in regards to this sale:

We made the deal on the heli and he shipped it promptly. It arrived in good time and well packaged and seemed all in order, so I added him to the good guy list. Then the problems began. He had forgotten to ship some of the hardware like header tank, servo mounting plates etc. I emailed and he was supposed to ship them out to me. He said he shipped them 8-14-06. I still do not have them or the flybar paddles he promised me.

Then, when I went to mount what I was sold as a '90' sized boom, I found it and the torque tube were actually for an R60. SO, I couldn't use the 710 blades he shipped me nor some other 90 bits I have here. He said, and I quote "I guess that is what I get. I bought that off of runryder and the guy told me they were 90 sized and I never bothered checking them. Sorry. I thought that is what they were."

So, I get screwed because he made a mistake? I have now had to buy a 90 Boom and Torque Tube and Torque Tube Bearings for the 90 boom, plus pay shipping for them to New Zealand = not cheap. He initially offered to refund me the price difference between the 60 boom/torque tube and the 90 units I had to buy. Since that offer (8-29-06) I have not gotten the refund nor have I heard from him again re the missing parts or the refund. This is despite several emails from me. Man am I pi$$ed off. I've got this beautiful new bird just sitting here grounded because of someone on RR's dishonesty.

I am sorry you got the shaft. I used to do alot of business on RR and there have been a few people that have shafted me. I make it my personal policy to buy NEW items from venders such as Heliproz, MTA, and a place in Chicago. Do yourself a favor....buy new and save yourself countless of headaches.

You don't get it. I am STILL missing a number of parts to complete this ship. PLUS I was sold a 90 boom and torque tube that I did not get, then had to order from overseas AND pay to get them here. I am out FAR more than $20 but that is all he offered me. I am actually out about $70-80 but I knew for a fact he would not stump up with the goods he owes me. I decided to take the $20 he offered and be done with this mess but he can't even come up with that!

Now, if this was you in my boat, you'd be angry too. My bird is down because of someone dishonest. Go back and re-read my first post man....

I still do not have the hardware, header tank, paddles etc. PLUS the boom, torque tube situation cost me extra $$$.

BTW, I can't just pop down to a LHS because we don't have any here. SO, I have to import everything I buy, adding to my costs significantly....had I gotten what I paid for my bird would be airborne and I'd be happy.

JAGNZ, sorry man that sucks.

Although you didn't get what you thought you were getting, it could have been a lot worse. At least you got a heli. I have seen a bunch of posts lately of people just never even getting any of what they paid for. At least you can look at that as the silver lining in this cloud. If you are out 80 or 90 bucks, at least it isn't a grand or something that would REALLY hurt.

EDIT: I agree that a theif is a theif, just to make that clear. But, it could have been worse... sucks all around

The entire deal actually was for USD$675, so it was a fairly major purchase for me. Thus why I am so gutted and REALLY want to fly this thing.

all this is still over 20bucks and if it cost me 20 to learn some one is not honest money well spent but when you come on to R/R and start a smear campain on some one over 20 bucks well it shows what kind of charter you have.
