| One of my original mounting attempts was very similar to the MA mount and the problem I had with that was that the mount mounted to the rear frame. As I was installing the muffler I noticed how much it flexed and moved relative to the rear frame. That was my primary reason for attaching it to the forward frame. I don't know if that was the reason it stopped eating up O rings but for whatever reason it did 
I also believe that the Hatori "flourine" O rings are the same as Flourocarbon O rings, aka Viton. I had to find a cheaper way to go with them while I was trying to figure out my problem....I can get the Viton #211 for $0.65/ea. Cheaper and since I can get them at my local bearing shop they are much easier to come by
