RescueHelicopter asked for quick payment for a pole camera system. Money order only. Like a fool I did.
No shipment for 2 weeks after saying that its shipped, almost 4 weeks later got some of the system but said the base was sent UPS. Couldn’t provide tracking number never received it, system worthless without it. Wont respond to PM’s or phone calls.
On the plus side I still have his address and it sound like the police are willing to work with me.
Any suggestions?

Hmmmm, we should start some sort of a collateral account here in RR. At least for the sellers. Either that or some sort of a middle man to collect both parties where the exchange happens. YEAH!

The only problem is like what if theres a bad middle man?

Maybe we could have like a community appointed middle man(s) and could do like a surcharge of like 5 dollars per trade ontop of the shipping charges to the sender and buyer both

Well then, we make sure the middle man has some sort of a bond or something. At least, then, we know the middle man is and hold him responsible. We go knock on his house and pick up our helis.

Easy enough to do a username search. If there's anything bad to be said you find it then.

Place them on the good guy list with a bad review, that also helps to warn people.

We put so much stock in the GG list why not a Bad Guy list? I believe in an equal and opposite for everything. If the reason we don't have a Bad Guy List is not to offend those members, SCREW THAT liberal A$$ IDEA !!! I say slam em! Post there names of shame on that board and let everyone else be warned of there scamming, deceptive, lying A$$es!

Sorry bout the rant, I'm just fed up with all the scammers here and I don't want to end up like so many out there being conned out of there hard earned-money.

I see your point of view but what's wrong with simply postong your bad review in bold red type in the GG list ?? One list can serve both purposes and save possible legal complications as well. If you were planing to buy something from a RR member you are probally going to check the GG list to see his past dealings anyways...right ?

Perhaps instead of calling it the GG list we should rename it as buyer/seller feedback or something.

I remember someone else having some problems with RH several months ago. Sorry you're at the short end idolminds! You may want to do a search, find out who it was that had issues with him before, and contact them to see where they ended up. It may save you some grief in the long run...

Well, I can think of one guy who was all over the good guy list, then all of a sudden he decided to stick me for an engine, another guy for another engine, and a third person for a sim. I put in a claim for his paypal account, but unless he puts money back in, I am SOL. And he was all over the good guy list.
Anytime we do business here, we are taking a risk. There is no sure bet.

Exactly. I have done hundres of deals here, and have only had one bad experience. I consider myself lucky. I now refuse to do business with anyone I haven't talked to before or bought from before. I will never buy a used heli from here, its just not worth the rish for the minimal savings.

i agree with you Bro,and i also concider my self lucky,i have had one or two bad deals, thats about it,it is a risk to buy here,but thats why you need to do a serch,now as far as a midle man goes,there is financial institutes that offer an escrow service,the problem is that they charge a prety high fee

any way,it is irritating to deal with a dishonest seller,and it would pissed me off having to deal with some one like this
