I think that its better not to adjust your gyro settings while the heli is on with blades installed and folded. I just did that and toasted 3 9252's. I can't believe that I just did that. Haven't even flown this thing yet.

dude I've switched on with the blades folded before. Easy enough to do but hopefully you only do it once. It's good to admitt it as you aint the only one and in fact probably a huge proportion of us have done it at least once before.....maybe you'll save someone else from doing it....kudos.

Since switching to Lipos and regulator I always unplug my battery when transporting my helis. If you ever unknowingly hit the switch and the blades are folded the same thing will happen. In my case the G3 rx decided to go into hold and after a 10 minute drive to my house the elevator servo motor had melted so much I couldn't even turn it. The other servos were ok. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

I had my godson plug the flag on my old pinswitch that I got from fromeco with the blades folded. I didn't notice it since I was out all day and got back late. the next day around 7am i hear this buzzing sound coming from my heli. I'm looking over the heli and can't figure out what it is since the pin was in place just not all the way to shut it off. I pushed it in after a minute of looking over the heli and sure enough it turned off. It fried my 9251 and my powerflite battery read 1.0v!!! that freaking sucked big time. since then i keep my heli in the basement. I also had that happen to me with a R/C car.

we have all

we have all done dumb mistakes that are very similiar, if you haven't, you are lucky, that is unfortunately how we all learn.

If you dont succeed the first time, try and try again. With heli's keep on trying!

Did that with my Fury once. Came home having been out pretty much all day and wondered what the buzzing noise was. Must have accidentally knocked the switch on - Ouch!
