Avant Aurora - EFX - FX > Avant programable head, shipping delay?

Hey Avant fans,
Has anyone ordered the CX programable head lately? I placed an order last week friday, early in the morning, and the head still hasn't shipped yet! Is CX diverting rotorheads for the Aurora? I hope not!

Nice going RAZ, putting the cart before the horse. Don't you wish you had your head back? The build is going very well, I'm almost out of parts. I like this machine.

Geez!
I guess I'll just have to get some OPM(other peoples machine) time from you! I'm glad to hear that your Synergy build is going well...can't wait to see it, and fly it!!

I may just have to cancel the CX rotor head and buy a Synergy?

Talk to you later,
Brian

Any updates on this topic? I'd like to order one of the heads too, but if there's a major delay I'll just take my money elsewhere....

I was sent an email by CX, and was told that it takes 10 days to process the rotorhead, before shipping. You would think that they would have these in stock.

I would send them an email, and see what they tell you. I'm not sure if this is how they have always operated with the rotorheads?

You can imagine how many parts will be needed for the initial release of the Aurora, especially when they say "no preorders" will be needed...900 kits first batch? Wow!!

According to Augusto, the programmable head is a "kit". Kits require more time to ship because they are made to order. Parts, however, are kept in stock and ship asap. I just went through this myself when I ordered an FX. I placed the order on Aug. 13th and it finally shipped Wednesday the 30th. They have been a little behind lately becuase of all the preparation for the Aurora release. Email customer service and then check your account on their website. They will get back to you.

Don't worry there is no major delay in heads. It says in the product page that the lead time is a week to 10 days after the order is processed.

Despite that we usually ship heads pretty much in three to four days after the order is processed. Yours should be about to ship.

Augusto.
