Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > 107-101 short ball links

Anyone have these in their kit?
I had to shorten the 107-100 long links.

Also does anyones links on bell mixer hit
the blade grip when the flybar tips with a little
positive collective.
Maybe I'm just looking to hard because it
flys fine!

Thanks Ernie

Yep I had to cut mine down, not a big deal but maybe in the future they will supply shorter links....

Have you noticed whether or not the blade grips
hit the side of the link when you tilt the flybar?

Thanks Ernie

I had to cut some long links down two. What's the point of having them as a different part number if they are not in the kit...

If you look closely at the pics on the Synergy website you can see those pics all have those links cut as well. You only need to cut one of them which is the easiest way to do it.

I had to cut mine and one of themwas touching bladegrip.Looked like the hole for bell mixer screw was predrilled in a little angle.Tiny washer under bell mixer solved it.

ernatz,

Are you using the middle hole on the seesaw? The manual shows the link in the middle hole so I assume this is JKs recommendation. I have 50 flights on my machine and the mid hole gives good flybar authority and the heli is still very quick and responsive.

At Ircha Jason did say to use the middle hole on the seesaw. Mine is looking good Charles I may get to put in the first flight this weekend without the canopy. I still have to paint it.

Bill,

Sounds good. I'd suggest you let her come up to full headspeed on the ground and then slowly lift off. Collective is very fast in the N9 so take it easy for your first flight. We are expecting rain here in DC this weekend so I'll continue to tweak the N9 model for XTR. It's hard to make it as responsive and stable though.

Good luck

Yes I am using the middle hole.
I ended up trimming the upper link slightly
so it clears the blad grip. It has much quicker
responce and flys much stronger.

Thanks for the replies,
Ernie

Synergy R/C say that the short links (107-101) will be in the kits that are shipping from now on. Until then you will just have to cut the longer ones down (107-100).
