Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > Wrong Threads on Synergy Fuel Tank Vent Fitting Nut?

Has anyone else had this issue??

Just sent this to Synergy:

Hi guys: I just started building my N9 kit. The nut included with the fuel tank to be used on the vent fitting is a coarser thread than the vent. I can probably clean up the threads on the vent fitting but the nut is still wrong.

Other than that, what a great, simple kit. I'm just under 4 hours & have the engine assembly in the right frame, including dial indicating the clutch hub & shaft to less than .001" & trimming the fan shroud.

Looks very good so far.

Could you please send me a fuel tank vent fitting & nut that fits?

Thanks,
Bob

Yeah, I got mine and found that there was no thread at all inside the nut! Not a good sign on the first item to build! It's a very strange thread too as I hunted high and low for a replacement without success. In the end I started a thread in some nylon and then forced it to make it's own thread to seal the tank.

No Response from Synergy

Hey Todd, Jason:

Great kit. How about sending a fuel tank vent & nut for a $1K kit?

Thanks,
Bob

Todd is in Minnesota doing a school. He'll be back on Monday. We can fix you up, just give us a call. I can send you a 90 degree Tettra fitting to use in the mean time.

Here We Go Again with Zero Response from Customer Service

I'm getting close to completing my Synergy but cannot get any response re: missing/bad parts:

Ron Lund:

If you are acting as Synergy rep & have the parts, please send them.

Hi Todd:

I'm forwarding this to you in case the other email address does not work.

You guys did a fantastic job on this kit. Very well thought out & simple to build & set up. If it flies as well as everyone says it does, I'll probably sell the Evo & Stratus & buy a back up N9.

Thanks,
Bob

Planet Synergy:

Bag # 10 did not contain a 75mm throttle control rod, PN107-075. Also, one of the pivot balls was not threaded, PN 107-104.

Please send me these.

Thanks,
Bob

Phone Number for Planet Synergy

My mistake, I just got dressed down for not realizing that the Synergy Ph # is in the manual: 805 553-0663.

It doesn't seem to be on the website.
