Hi has anyone come across a commercial electric conversion kit for the Evo 50?
I currently have a T-Rex 450 but wanted something bigger, I was going to go for a raptor as there seems to be a few conversion kits availiable but I hear the evo is a better Heli, what ever I go for I do want electric.
Ofcourse the trex 600 isnt out of the picture but I heard the raptor 50 would be more stable for a newbie.

It is!

Hirobo makes a conversion for the Evo and some make their own mounts. The Hirobo unit makes use of the original clutch but some of the conversions just mount the pinion directly to the motor.

I will most likely be converting my Evo to electric. Since I have the equipment to do it I may machine my own mounts and save some money. Or I may decide to get something a little smaller, maybe a Logo 10 or similar.

It flies really well, the best thing about it is the feel, the direct CCPM with the Hirobo head is a great combination.
