Two friends have/had the MA LongRanger fuse on basic ST mechanics. Both flew fine with OS 61 SX engines.
Frank Baity had an absolutely gorgeous one that he sold to Mike Homic last year. Frank flew it quite a bit before deciding that he absolutely had to have another Pro. You can probably run him down on the X-Cell or Comp Heli lists. If not, I have a work # that I'll send you back channel.
I'm planning on doing this myself, and talked at length with Frank. He has a lot of good tips to consider.
