I have a RevMax installed on my Avant. It has a 9254 on throttle plugged to the revmax, all is at 6V trough an Arizona reg.
The problem i am having is very fast hunting from the throttle servo, when in hovering the servo arm can be seen moving by about 4-5mm in opening and closing the barrel very fast, obviously the effect can be seen on the tail too as some small movements.

I tought it could be the 9254 i have on throttle behaving odd on 6V

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think is a tuning issues since the engine on curves runs fantastic.

First of all Futaba doesn't recommend that 6 volts be used with the 9254.
Also do you have the RevMax set for super servo mode?
The RevMax isn't designed to be used as a governor as it only engages when a over speed condition occurs. Otherwise the Revmax is passive until you reach the targeted headspeed .

I think your problem is the sensor, try to replace it.

You don't have to use super servo mode with the revmax.

I cured the same issue on a TJ Pro, by taking it out of super servo mode.

Thanx, took it out of super servo mode and it cured a little but the hunting is still there a little bit. I'll try a new sensor and see if it can solve the problem.

i think it's the servo, i had the same problem with the revloc/ds821 first i change the gov to rev max did not fix it so i change the servo to a ds811 problem went away.
