Documents say the Triton can charge Lithium ion batteries. Are these the same as Li-poly, just a different name?

I'm new to the electric heli market so trying to play catch up with out the blow up.

Thanks

Actually it is the other way around Li-poly is a type of Lithium ion battery. The triton works fine on Li-polys I have use one since they came out. Just remember to set the correct pack voltage and charge rate.

thanks for the reply.

Do you still use a balance guard. I think thats what they call it.

I have not used a balancer until recently. The older Thunder Power packs that I use do not have a balancer connector. The newer Thunder Power packs that have a balancer connector I have been using a Astroflight Blinky every couple of cycles.
