What pitch range is everyone getting?

I have followed the suggested rod lengths and I am using a Futaba FF9 tx with the swash afr's set to +50 and I seem to be getting way too much pitch, my gauge only reads +10, -10 but it is far beyond that.

I'm not sure whether I am doing anything wrong, I have used Futaba heavy duty horns with the balls set at 13.5mm on S9255 servos.

Has anyone else had any experience of the Synergy and the FF9 and could offer me any tips or settings

Has everyone been ok using the rod lengths stated in the manual?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it possible to get +/-12 degrees of pitch on this machine?

That's what I'm running on the R90.

This engine is just a stump puller with this new Viper head!
I was running 10 and 11 on the pitch before, but with the Viper I've bumped it up to 12!

Thanks guys.

I too just got mine 2day. I am new to choppers and I am used to setting up the chopper as per the guidelines of the manufacturers. Currently flying Raptor 50. Please tell me what should the setttings be for different flight modes such as Normal/Idle1/Idle2 in the Pitch Throttle Curve. The Thunder Tiger manual has a full page dedicated to it. Unfortunately the Synergy manual does not have one.
Any ideas anyone??????

If I have +13/-13 what is the best way to dial it down.

Should I just doing it via the pitch curves or should I be altering it mechanically possibly by bringing the ball in on my servo arms?

My only other experience has been with Raptor 50's which are far easier to set-up.

To recap I'm running S9255's, servo balls at 13.5mm out, Swash AFR's all at +50% on a Futaba FF9

if you have 0 degrees at center stick i would suggest dialing it down in the pitch curve, that way it is easier to make changes in the future.
