carcrasher - wow, slow down, relax, I do not like a raptor at all but you are being stupid now. No need to bad mouth any thing that bad. If you do not like it - so be it. There are a lot and I mean, a lot, of poeple that do like them. I am not one of them but damn ...... If I was..... I would hate to think what would happen if we fly at the same field!!!!

i have nothing against raptors. I think they are good helis to learn on. cheap, fly good and parts can be bought just about anywhere under the sun. I've flown with guys who fly raptors and fly them pretty damn hard. To them the raptor fits their flying style. I'm not to kean on buying a heli for X amount of dollars then having to buy aftermarket upgrades to make it fly better and buy a bunch of nylon washers to use in place of the metal washers so I can use my 14mz to keep from getting lock outs.

Some people talk about ( FLY BETTER ) hmmmm makes me wonder if they know what theu are talking about,,I think sometimes just beacuese a tongue is between the teeth they think they have to use ti. The Raptor is as good as any other copter.

i do not believe you will see a heli coming from curtis. not sure where that rumor came from but it is highly unlikely at this moment.

Yes I made the frames,,the boom is turned upside down and the main mast is about an inch shorter also had a buddy make the elevator,I needed to bacuase of the shorter main mast,I also made the landing gear. ( it flies so smooth ) . Presently am Moding my R50 to a 60
